Announcement PDF ASX Announcement 23 July 2026 COGENIC SIGNS USA LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT DEVELOPMENT WORK Key highlights:  Cogenic signs Master License Agreement with Amalgamated Vision (AV)  AV is a Tennessee based deep tech company developing micro-optic components for non-obstructive head mounted displays developing solutions for AFWERX and NASA since 2023  Focus of the technology now narrows to Defence, First Responders and Aerospace Energy Technologies Limited (ASX: EGY or the “Company”), is pleased to announce it has, through its 100% owned subsidiary Cogenic Pty Ltd (Cogenic), signed a Master License Agreement with Amalgamated Vision, a Brentwood, Tennessee deep tech company. The deal, for a nominal upfront value, secures the relationship of developing lightweight, low- power and high-performance optical platform that underpins the solution resulting in a heads- up display solution, in conjunction with AV for their ongoing product development specifically for AFWERX (USA Air Force work project) and NASA (The National Aeronautics and Space Administration). The end product, in the form of military grade wearable heads-up display, is the physical glasses heads up display solution which will have specific hardware and multiple software overlays. The drivers of this product will result in a heads up display utilising Cogenic’s Laser Beam Scanning (LBS) technology. The agreement is for an initial period of five (5) years, which may be extended, for the nominal value of USD10.00. As the development work matures, any revenue derived from the co-ordination of the two companies will be shared under the license agreement. The revenue share of the heads-up display glasses for Cogenic will be a 5% royalty on gross sales of the finished product. The license is limited to the project work. The heads-up display glasses solution will be used for in field training and operations There is no guarantee of revenue at the end of the project, and a decision won’t be known until the development projects have concluded. The global market size for military heads-up display was estimated to be USD1.3B in 2025 growing to USD2.7B in 2034. The total addressable market through this period is expected to be USD18.1B.1 The company is excited by the prospect of working with AV and solidifying the efficacy of what it has planned for the Cogenic business, now focusing in Defence and Aerospace.
