Bambach restructure
Order book rebuild in FY27
KEY MESSAGES
• FY26 was a deliberate transition year — Bambach moved from a legacy, low-margin revenue base toward
a high-margin contract driven business while Cogenic’s investment provides a proprietary technology
platform focused on high margin, high contract value markets.
• Bambach revenue reduced as the Group exited and repriced lower-quality volume during the restructure;
the revenue profile is now materially different in composition and margin quality.
• NPAT loss widened modestly to $(12.4)m, reflecting on a reduced working capital availability,
restructuring costs and increased funding costs — not trading deterioration.
• Administrative discipline delivered — overheads reduced net $0.4m year-on-year despite an expanded
cost division with the addition of Cogenic’s technology program.
• Bambach restructure is finished; FY27 focus is rebuilding the order book to prior levels under new
financial metrics.

Highlights
• Acquisition of the Maradin Laser Optical Engineering IP Portfolio by Cogenic Limited
• First Master License Agreement with Amalgamated Vision in North America
• Placement for ~AUD2.5m completed
• Completion of the restructure of the Bambach operations
Revenue — $3.9m (FY25: $8.1m)
A function of a changed offering and revenue profile, not lost market
position. The Group withdrew from legacy low-margin contract volume
within Bambach, re-based pricing to reflect copper volatility and the cost-
to-serve.
NPAT — $(12.4)m (FY25: $(11.0)m)
The $1.4m increase principally reflects the higher financing cost ($1.4m)
Administrative expenses — $4.1m (FY25: $4.5m)
Down $0.4m / 8.9% through re-positioning the Bambach business —
delivered while launching Cogenic’s technology development program.
Bambach Wires & Cables
Restructuring concluded in FY26. Lower fixed-cost base, revised
commercial terms and clear return hurdles; the business now pivots to
order book rebuild.

OPERATING MODEL
Scalable manufacturing model
Designed to support commercial-scale production, with the majority of manufacturing undertaken externally on a mass-production basis.
Externalised mass production
Volume manufacture executed through established external
partners on mass-production lines. Capacity elasticity
without balance-sheet-heavy capital investment, a shorter
path from order to delivery, and the ability to scale output
with demand rather than ahead of it.
Proprietary technology retained
Cogenic's proprietary technology includes custom-
manufactured MEMS chips — an important component of
the Company's differentiated wearable solution and a core
element of the platform's defensibility.
Operating leverage
A lean internal footprint focused on design, integration,
firmware, qualification and customer engineering, with unit
economics that improve as volume builds.
